About

Built on expertise. Powered by technology.

With over thirty-five years of combined benefits administration experience, Omega was built as a technology platform serving employers, brokers, carriers, and PEOs nationwide.

Our Origin

Founded by Doug Snowman in Leominster, Massachusetts, Omega was built to solve the infrastructure challenge at the center of the benefits ecosystem by connecting employers, carriers, and platforms through a single, carrier-contracted payment and data rail. The focus from day one: expert service, accurate data, and personal accountability.

Our Growth

Built on four decades of carrier relationships and distribution network expertise, Omega's platform was engineered from the ground up beginning in 2018 to solve the reconciliation and payment infrastructure challenges that legacy TPA systems could not. COBRA, HRAs, HSAs, ICHRA, Premium Collection, and more came online as clients needed them. Today Omega serves over 500 corporate and public-sector organizations nationwide, partnering with producers, carriers, and PEOs.

Our Platform

What started as administration is now infrastructure. Omega is a technology-enabled solutions company: proprietary platforms, intelligent automation, and purpose-built software handling Premium Reconciliation, Benefit Reconciliation, COBRA Management, and HSA/Flex Administration, turning complex processes into seamless, audit-ready operations.

Our Approach

Software first. Expert support built in as a feature of the platform, not a separate engagement. Available where human judgment matters most: implementation, escalations, and compliance edge cases. The result is faster outcomes, lower costs, and a system that scales without scaling headcount.

Leadership

The team behind the platform.

Doug Snowman

Founder · CEO · President

Doug has worked in the insurance and benefits industry since 1984, beginning at Commercial Union Insurance while completing his studies at Gordon College. His career spans Colonial Life, Aflac, the founding of Hubbard & Preston Insurance Brokerage (1998), PayPlans & Benefits (2003), and Omega (2018). Four decades of carrier relationships and distribution network development inform every carrier contract in Omega's portfolio.

Sean Flanagan

Co-Principal · Chief Technology Officer

Sean leads all technology infrastructure at Omega. A previous owner at Summit Software (Little Rock, AR), an HR outsourcing platform processing approximately one million paychecks annually, which was acquired by PrismHR. Following that acquisition he served as VP at PrismHR, giving Omega's CTO direct architectural knowledge of the platform Omega integrates with most deeply. He rebuilt Omega's technology from the ground up, transforming the company into the integration-first platform it is today.

Jessica Turner

CFO · COO

Jessica leads financial operations, compliance programs, carrier relationships, and banking infrastructure at Omega. She brings executive experience in benefits administration including prior leadership roles at benefits companies and advisory work across the benefits and financial services sector. She leads Omega's banking infrastructure development and institutional partnerships.

Jim Jacobson

Chief Revenue Officer

Jim brings four decades of senior carrier executive experience: VP Strategy & Product Development at MetLife, VP Ancillary Product Development at Cigna, VP Sales at MassMutual, and EVP Distribution at Boston Mutual. Three of these carriers are in Omega's contracted portfolio. His carrier relationships and product knowledge directly support Omega's carrier contract portfolio and partner distribution strategy.
